ABOUT THE Project
In December 2017, I had the privilege of traveling to Tokyo, Japan, to photograph the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel for VRX Studios. This iconic hotel, located in the heart of the city, combines modern sophistication with traditional Japanese influences, offering a stunning backdrop for a photo shoot. From the meticulously designed interiors to the breathtaking city views, every corner of the Shangri-La exuded elegance. Capturing the space's intricate details and grandeur allowed me to highlight the hotel’s unique atmosphere, as well as the seamless blend of luxury and comfort that defines the Shangri-La brand.
The project presented a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in Tokyo's dynamic energy, which added another layer of inspiration to the shoot. Each image was crafted with careful attention to lighting, composition, and the delicate balance of textures and design elements that make the Shangri-La Hotel stand out as a true gem in Tokyo's skyline. It was a fulfilling experience to document such a beautiful space, and the resulting images continue to be among my most cherished works.
